CTSL’s Mission

The mission of Creative Technology Solutions Limited (CTSL) is to  provide high quality technology training, certification and related services thereby contributing to the development of individuals, organizations and the country of Saint Lucia, endeavoring always to optimize the technology utilized and the creative potential of the individual.

CTSL’s Core Values

In performing CTSL’s mission, it is expected that the following values will guide the decisions and actions of all persons associated with the organization:

  1. There is always a creative solution waiting to be found to any issue which may present itself.

  2. The CTSL trainee or client recipient of services provided by CTSL should always be satisfied that they have received value for money.

  3. High quality service provision can only be achieved with adequate organization, planning, preparation, excellence in execution and disciplined administration.

  4. The nature of the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) industry is such that success demands a nimble organization, quick to respond to the needs of trainees and clients in communication and service delivery.

  5. The nature of the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) industry is such that to be successful it is necessary for all personnel in the organization to constantly keep themselves up to date with new developments and changes as well as new ways that businesses may be able to leverage technologies.

  6. The state of mind and development of the individual is the biggest competitive advantage in finding creative solutions to challenges of business and as such attention must be paid to the internal development of the individual.

  7. Financial accountability and prudent financial management is critical to the financial success of the organization.

  8. Finding ways to minimize personal conflicts through open and effective communication, and finding creative solutions to daily operational issues is more productive than an adversarial approach to dealing with issues.

About Us

CTSL is a company owned and operated by Saint Lucian nationals with over 20 years of Information and Communications Technology experience in the local, regional and international arena.  CTSL personnel have worked extensively with Government , the Private Sector and international organizations.

CTSL has well established links with major IT players including Microsoft, Cisco, Intuit, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the European Computer Drivers License Foundation (ECDLF).

Service to the Community

CTSL personnel have served Saint Lucia on a number of boards and council including the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC), Junior Achievement of Saint Lucia, National Economic Council (NEC), National Council for Science and Technology for Development (NCSTD), Radio St. Lucia Limited (RSL) and the National Training Board.  At the invitation of various Government departments and organizations CTSL personnel have also represented Saint Lucia at various regional and international ICT events in the Caribbean, United States, Europe, Latin America, the Pacific and Asia.

CTSL personnel continue to serve on the Communication Information and Informatics Sub-Commission of UNESCO and the American Chamber of Commerce – St. Lucia.

Pioneering ICT Accomplishments

CTSL personnel have been directly involved in a number of cutting edge developments in relation to ICT in Saint Lucia including:

  1. Establishment of the first Internet eMail connectivity for Saint Lucia in October 1992 through the Caribbean Universities Network Project (CUNet) in collaboration with the Organization of American States (OAS) and the University of Puerto Rico.

  2. In March 1994 CTSL personnel became the first Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in Saint Lucia after successfully completing certification examinations in New

In November 2004 CTSL personnel were directly involved in the certification of the first International Computer Driving License (ICDL) training and testing centre in Saint Lucia and CTLS personnel were the first Saint Lucians to be certified as ICDL examiners. CTSL personnel also established the first Sylvan Prometric (MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CompTia A+, etc.) testing centre and the first Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) testing centre in Saint Lucia.

  4. In December 2005 CTSL personnel became the first Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) in Saint Lucia. The CISA program is designed to assess and certify individuals in the IS audit, control or security profession who demonstrate exceptional skill, judgment and proficiency in IS audit, control and security practices.
